so as the year point is coming.. i want to formally ask my friends and family to be in my bridal party.. except i have one problem. my fiance has two sisters.. one of which i am really close to, and one who i speak to when she comes to visit. i had planned on making one of my FSIL's my maid of honor.. and not having the other sister in my party at all.. and people are telling me if i have one, then i have to have both, so it's either all or nothing. my fiance is fine with whatever i do.. so i'm turning to you girls for your opinions.. here's the poll..

Re: FSIL / bridal party POLL
This is kind of hard, because you never know if you will get really close with the other one as well, and you don't want to regret it later... But its defiantly up to you, but I would consider having the one be your MOH and the other a bridesmaid, or maybe even a reader or if she can sing, just be involved somehow.

Re: FSIL / bridal party POLL
I wasn't really close to my FSIL until after I asked her to be in the BP. My FH insisted I have his sister, which I didn't mind and it has actually made us closer. Now FH is always complaining that we talk too much. lol

Re: FSIL / bridal party POLL
I kinda felt obligated to invite FSIL. I thought it was the right thing to do. We just see each other when family gets together and we're not close at all. Plus I think she might have felt eft out otherwise.
I don't think there's anything wrong with asking both of them.

Re: FSIL / bridal party POLL
This is a very tough decision. What about making the other FSIL a bridesmaid. She might feel left out being that FH is her brother. If you do not want to make her a bridesmaid try to include her somehow...maybe left her do a reading. Good luck

I am in the same exact situation, and ended up asking both.
It will just be easier down the road.

THe best thing is to put both. If I was the other FSIL and you didnt ask me I would be pissed. You dont want any fights starting

hmmm hard question. i would say if you have one have the other or dont have either. Thats what I would do. I wouldnt want negative feelings.

Re: FSIL / bridal party POLL
I don't really see the negative of putting her in. If you don't then there could be hard feelings and if you do, then how does that harm you? She is the one that has to take on the burden of partaking in the wedding plans. If you feel that she will in any way be upset, i would put her in

Re: FSIL / bridal party POLL
do BOTH...FH has 2 sisters as well and as there is an age gap I was considering only one (and the whole bridal party is unbalance) but SOOO have BOTH in it you will be marrying into the family and feel sooo much better down the line that you did. You would never want her feeling like you don't like her as much as the other...
