FSIL is a pain

I had emailed all my girls that hair and makeup will come out to be 130.The she calls me a few minutes ago and says I'm not going to get my makeup done. I'm like WHAT! Your going to look so plan. She said she will do her own makeup but if you see that, that is a horror show. AAAAHHHHH I have to have FH talk to her. I'm making her do her eyebrows because I can't stand them. I'm sorry you have to look pretty for my wedding. Why wouldnt you want to look pretty. AAHHHHH she is killing me. She spends money on junk and really into her credit card debt that $130 won't kill her.

welcome to my world. FMIL insists on going to some salon so that she isn't tying up my hair person.....so while she is saving like $20 on she and FSIL's hair/makeup, she is beyond losing that money on the fee they are charging her for opening....why she insists is beyondme....i may hurt her.

eta----and the hair/makeup people are coming to HER house to do it all!!!

well in all honesty I would never force anyone to change their appearance just for my wedding if they didnt want to themsleves.

IMO the purpose of being a bridesmaid isnt to 'look pretty' but to be there for me on my special day.

In any case, Im sure that it will work out.

I agree! I know it's a bit frustrating but if you're asking your BM to change a lot about her appearance, i'd find that sort of insulting. You can't expect everything just because it's your day.

*ETA... that came out wrong. It's just you're already asking a lot from her to be in the wedding and there are limits to that. You can't expect everyone to look perfect on your wedding day. That's a lot to live up to.
