FSIL out of the wedding!

FSIL out of the wedding!

For anyone keeping count, this is now two people that have pulled out of my wedding party! Her and I don't really get along, I had her in the wedding initially because it meant a lot to my FH. She has given us trouble from the beginning of our engagement and this is the best thing that really could have happened. She never even picked up her BM dress from the store, so I knew it was coming. When she was still part of the BP, she responded 'no' to both of the bachelorette parties (2 months in advance) and is not even going to my shower (which she refused to RSVP for, she just told FH that she is not going and wasn't calling anyone to respond). When FH and I tried to talk to her calmly about things, she started a huge fight and left the house (drama is her middle name!).
I really think the fact that this day is not about her is driving her up the wall. It's all jealousy and resentment! Let's see if she sends back a response for the wedding!
I am super jealous of anyone with great in-laws, because mine leave a lot to be desired...It's a really good thing that I love my FH so much!!

I'm sorry you are going through with us, but its good she backed up, so you won't be getting stress from her that day.

wow! so sorry you have to deal with this. In a way i'm glad FH is an only child....so much less drama. It's so sad your FSIL is acting like this but your day will go much smoother without her being a part of it. Hopefully she'll grow up one day.

wow.... sounds like my FSIL!!!! At our engagement party she never said congrats and never got us a gift. We've been engaged since Oct of 2005 and has never once said anything about our wedding. Trouble is her middle name so I never asked her to be a BM. In laws can stink sometimes!!! Sorry that your FSIL has to treat you that way!

Re: FSIL out of the wedding!

Thanks girls for your support! It means a lot!
I am so glad she won't be in the wedding and in all my pictures!
It's a good thing that I had a big BP to begin with...I lost my MOH and a BM!
I feel bad for my FH, that is the only person that she hurts. I could care less.
I am looking forward to a great wedding with No DRAMA!!!

Jamie I feel your pain! We share similar stories! I have 2 FSIL. One I cannot stand and never consider asking to be in BP (nor would she say yes). The other one I tolerate and she bitc#ed and moaned to be in BP. To date she did not come to engagement party let alone send a card or gift. The other FSIL came to engagement party & did not say hello or goodbye and never brought a gift or card. I really don't understand why in-laws have to be such pain in the a##s. Life and relationships are hard enough without all the family bulls$%.

Sorry you had to deal with this! There should be a set of Hallmark cards which gently deal with these type of issues.

Sorry you had to deal with the drama, but at least she is one less thing to worry about.

And here I was thinking I was the only person ever to have had 2 BM's drop out of the wedding. I know how you feel. My FSIL was one of them. FM me if you need to talk about it. I am so sorry you are going through this!!!

awwww, Feel for you hunny, In laws are usually a 'complicated' item lol I am not lucky either! Things happen for a reason, now you will be surrounded by people who really care about you and your FH!!!
