FSIL Vent.... Need some hugs!

Sooo my FSIL is not in my BP for many reasons.... one being that she is not close with FH and barely acknowledges me.... At our e-party she did say congrats nor get us a gift. We've been engaged since Oct of 05 and she has not said ONE word about the wedding. Every now and then she'll IM me on instant messenger just to say hi. Well today she IMs me saying she found a perfect dress to wear to the wedding and she can't wait to show me it and to look on her myspace page for a pic.... (mean while I did not respond because I did not feel like talking to her) well I look and its THE SAME COLOR AS MY BRIDESMAIDS, BABYBLUE!!! I just knew she was going to do this.....and its a dress that is extrememly low in the front, not classy at all.... why does she have to be so difficult???!!! thanks for letting me vent!

Don't even sweat it! She's obviously trying to get to you and everyone at the wedding will know that she is not a bm and she'll be the one looking silly and not you...

Sorry you are having issues with her!!!
Don't worry - noone will be looking at her on your wedding, everyone will be looking at you and FH because it is your day! Do not let her get to you - it is not worth the energy and stress!!!

Did she know that was your BM color? If so, then I am going to have to say that it sounds like she did this to get a rise out of you. Don't even ackowledge it. Like Kris said, nobody is going to be looking at her. Don't let her get to you. People can be such a pain in the a s s

As annoying and aggravating as it is-try to just ignore her. Sounds like she is looking for a rise and expecting to get one, so dont give it to her!

As the others have said, she's the one who will look silly at your wedding! Everyone will know she isn't in the BP and that she's trying to get attention. Don't even let it worry you!

That's not to bad.It's like what I'm doing. Everyone in my immmediate family is wearing the colors or something in that color family jus so they can stand out. Even the guys are wearing tangarine and gray ties. Ignore her, you have other things that's more important than her.

Ew... she s u cks. Sounds like we have a scene stealer on our hands. I wouldn't entertain her desperate desire for attention. Its ok to get upset, just don't let her know.

You need to move her to the back of the bus in your life. Imagine your life as you being the driver of the bus of your destiny. Some people can sit up front; some get moved to the back. Hell, some people get caught in the tires from time to time.

thanks ladies!!!!! feeling a little better already, I never told her the color but FMIL knows the color of the BP) Just have to ignore her and focus on that fact that its mine and Kevin's day!!!!

She obviously wants attention and will get it in any way possible! Hold your head up, you will have an amazing day in spite of her! I cannot stand my FSIL, so I am right there with you!! MY FSIL was in the wedding and pulled herself out after she threw a temper tantrum like a 3 year old! Just go on and have a wonderful day!!

I feel for you my FSIL is the same exact way. I wish we didn't have to invite her. I can't stand people who are only happy when they are in the spotlight. Stay strong.
