FSIL/BM

Got a call today that my FSIL and one of my bridesmaids in 5 weeks pregnant! She called to tell me she couldn't be in the wedding because she was pregnant and she didnt think I would want her in it if she was going to be 8-9 months pregnant. I told her I wanted her in the wedding but if she didnt feel she would be up to it then I understood. So I called the place where we ordered the dresses from b/c she hasnt gotten measured yet and asked if they can either alter it for someone who's that pregnant or if the dress comes in maternity. They said they would have a seamstress look at it and if it can't be done i'll just pick another dress for her that is similar. I'm excited though for a new niece or nephew! Hopefully I can find a dress that is similiar if it can't be altered for someone who is pregnant. Im really excited for them. This will be their 3 child her 2 daughters are my flowergirls!

I was 8 months pregnant at my sister's wedding and was a BM. They just ordered the dress in a bigger size & an extra long so they would have material to work with. The dresses were A-line style with a princess point at the waist. They took mine and put the point right under my chest so my belly wasn't tight. It worked out great.
Good luck and congratulations on your family's new addition!

It can be done! I am sure she will be beautiful. You will find a way to make it work.
My mom was so nervous with me at my sister's wedding. It was a crazy hot day. At the reception once they introduced my sister and BIL my mom came up to me and whispered 'ok, you can go into labor now.' LOL! My son was born almost a month later.

Congrats on the new addition. I know a lot of people have issues with DB but I've seen some very pretty BM (maternity) dresses there
