The stamps USPS has to offer are hideous! Tough choices between these ugly contemporary rainbow love stamps, ugly people I've never heard of, etc... Is there anyway the post office can just hand stamp them, is that unheard of or something they just won't do? What stamps are you ladies using? Thanks!

um, did you try online? sometimes they offer stamps above & beyond what you can get in the regular P.O.?

its the same thing online .. i looked through all of them and found nothing decnet.
they had some nice ones in the international postage section .. can you use those within the US?

Thanks HearzBells but I tried usps.com and they are the same ugly stamps as in the P.O. Oh well...My Fiance is calling me a Bridezilla cause I am getting frustrated over stamps! LOL

We felt the same way. Have you considered using the national parks stamps? We used the ones with the Grand Canyon as that has special meaning for me (took my mom there a few years ago) and it was actually pretty attractive looking. You can buy them online.

There is not much to choose from..but my envelopes were a cream color so i used
this for the invitations outside envelope:
and regular flag for the response:
Those love ones are so ...FN ugly.

do you or anyone you know work in an office where you have a postage machine? The office I work in has one (Pitney Bowes is the brand) and it has many options to put 'pictures' on the meter...we had one that has an american flag, one with 'friends don;t let friends drink and drive' one with 'happy birthday' one witha bbirthday cake, one with a big heart, one with 2 doves and a heart...if we use them at work, we just give the money to the office manager to pay for what we use...but its nice....I don;t know if they run through any other machines after or if they go just like that..maybe I will send something to myself to find out!! But, if someone has one, go for that!

We used these stamps. Acadia National Park. We're visiting the park on our honeymoon, so it was appropriate!
