Full or Extra Full Slip

I like the poofy princess style gowns but I fell in love with an A-line. Do you think I can still get away with making it poofy or no?

Here is a picture of my gown and the 2 choices for slips. What do you think?

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

I would go with the first one. I think the 2nd one will be too much with that kind of fabric.

You look amazing!!! Great dress!!

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

I have a Maggie Sottero A line and I tried it on with the full and the extra full. Personally I preferred the extra full because it gives it more of a flare.

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

beautiful dress...

I would really need to see the dress on with the 2 different slips... I personally like just a full slip...I didn't want my dress to be too poofy...

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

I would go with just the full. I think that sash adds a lot to the dress so that it doesn't need the extra fullness.

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

i think you can get away with the extra full. Maggies have a good amount of material on the bottom. Can you buy both and return one?

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

Look at my pretty bride!!!! If you have the opportunity to try them on with the dress, I would. But to be on the safe size, I would go with the first one.

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

Hm. Try them both, see which one you prefer. I am a sucker for poofy princess type gowns.

Re: Full or Extra Full Slip

See if you can try them both... to be honest, in the pic on the model, it looks like she has an extra full slip and it looks great! I like the fuller look!
