Is anyone using Full View photography? I was just looking for any input. Thanks

That`s Hal Lyman right? I am using him. A friend of mine just used him and her proofs were great. I have booked him for my June wedding. He is a little quirky but easy to work with and flexible with his packages. I got a very comprehensive package from him for less than many other photographers (we bargained and he worked with us), the quality of his work is great and artistic! I am getting 2 photographers (one color and one black and white) and the video from him. I would meet with him and check it out. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the message back. I had gone there and am in the middle of checking other photographers out, but never heard any feedback from other brides using them. Was your friend really happy with them?

Hi Cindy! I am also using Full View Photography. My girlfriend got married in September 2000 and used them. Her proofs were beautiful and her album was really incredible. I believe she use Brian for her color shots and Vincente for her black and whites. She also used their videographer, and was not impressed by the final product. But, she just wanted an unedited tape--it was much less $$. Anyway, I met with Hal at his studio in Great Neck. Jennifer is right--he is a little quirky, but nice. I looked through many of his albums and kept on referring to the ones I particularly liked. Those were shot by Hal and this other guy Mark. So I booked Hal for our color shots and Mark for our black and white shots. Hal is a little more expensive than the other photographers that work for him. Quirky and Unethical in my opinion...

I booked Hal Lyman over the summer--based on a recommendation and after meeting with him and looking at his work. My initial deposit was put on my credit card, as will be all future payments. I'm sorry to hear that Full View photography left such a bad taste in your mouth. I can only hope he will be reliable and his work will be beautiful.

My friend's wedding was in October and I saw her proofs recently and they were great! She also was very happy with how he dealt with her that day. She was very nervous and told him she didn't want that many photos, but Hal convinced her that she would regret it and took a lot of great shots! She only wanted to take pictures in her small apartment and at the church and Hal worked very well with this. He moved her furniture around to get the best look and made her very happy. I am sure we will be happy!
