Fun fact about you....

So I interview bands a lot, and my favorite question to ask is 'What is one fun fact about each member of your band'

So lets flip it LIW style...



Lets hear a fun fact about everyone!!

My standard one is....

I sang at Yankee Stadium. The St. John's University Mixed Chorus got to sing the National Anthem at a game in 2005 and Jay-Z told us we did a good job from his seat on the third base line SUCH an amazing experience, I will never forget it as long as I live.

since i got TV shows on the brain...


i was on a dating show once, back in the day in my college years...BEFORE FH!

OMG, DETAILS PLEASE?!? You can't just leave it like that! lol

i knewwwwwwwwwwww someone was going to ask...

i dont want any one digging it up!!!

it was a dating show...that used to air late at night...

the guy had a few girls to choose from, i made it to the very end...but he chose the other girl over me...oh well! it wasn't that serious anyway...

but the show was sooo manipulative- they were holding up signs in the background, egging us on to talk trash to the other girls- it was crazy...but fun!

Like most LI chicks (well maybe) I was a bit obsessed with Debbie Gibson.

Anyway - she was from the area on LI where my dad used to have his deli and one day she walked in before going to the beach and was mobbed by fans so she ran into the back room to hide. When my dad realized who she was he told her about how i was a fan.

Shortly after I used to get letters from her and the band - music books and then got tickets to one of her concerts.

I was also able to go to her recording studio in NYC to meet her thanks to my aunt and uncle who had connections.

I was all about the electric youth lol

I also went to St John's, and I lLOVE Jay-Z!! I went to his 9/11 benefit concert at MSG last year, and it was the best concert I've ever been to!

Fun fact for me: I'm an adrenaline junkie who'll try anything and eat anything! Most exciting thing I've ever done is skydive last year, the best experience ever. Craziest thing I've ever eaten is a 10-course snake dinner that started with having a shot of snake's blood and beating heart!

I had the snake dinner at, no joke, what was called Snake's Village in Vietnam, where I studied abroad for two summers in college.

I had eaten snake's meat in the past, but the blood and the beating heart were definitely new to me, but I was excited. It was a group of maybe 15 of us eating there together.

The funny part was that one of the people in our group was a macho college athlete, but he was so frightened by snakes he jumped on a chair and yelped when they brought it out lol.

I was born in Korea and came here when I was 5. I watched the movie 'Annie' and would name all my dolls Annie. When it was time to enroll in school, my mom asked me what I wanted my american name to be. I answered 'Annie!' right away. When my mom filled out the forms at the school, she spelled it A-N-N-E-Y and it's been that way ever since.

Bonus Fact: When people asked me what my korean name (Hye Song) means, i'd make up all this bulldooky like 'spring flower', 'Summer Breeze'. I asked my dad like 5 years ago what it actually means and he says quite stoicly - 'intelligent pine tree.' LOL NOT HOT!!!

the snake thing is crazy still lol

i run a music blog type thing, thought i havent done anything with it since the beginning of wedding planning and really need to. I also do photography for bands, I shoot a lot of shows like warped tour and stuff like that.

wow i'm quite boring

well my first name is actually Donna and I go by my middle name b/c my sisters and I all have the same name. So to make it less confusing, my younger sister and I go by our middle names. but my brother and sisters and I all have the same initials

When i was 12, my family and I got help up at gun point and tied up with duck tape at our apt in Downtown Manhattan..
Thank god nothing Worse happened to us, they (4 men) just ransacked our place...

I WAS NOT at all traumatized by it... Maybe becuase i was only 12 and i probably didn't think i could be killed or harmed.

(My sis was 10 and my cousin was 11). When applying for college all 3 of us, did write our college essay based on that experience.

I used to wear two different colored socks (on purpose because I always wore boots so no one would see them anyway) until I met FH. Now he pairs all my socks for me.

I guess my fun fact is that I am a nerd. Like a HUGE science nerd. I went to DNA camp for two summer in high school. Now I do science all day for a living. Im a GEEEEEEEEEEEK
