I'm looking or a good DJ-professional, who's fun and will get the audience involved but isn't ANNOYING to people.....HELP!!!!!
We hired Perfect Parties in Smithtown, mostly cuz I have seen him at work and he really reads the crowd well without getting 'in their face'. I work weddings, etc. at a country club and when they did parties, they were awesome.
Albert Lee Music, he has a high motivational dancer to get the crowd moving and he does not get in your face, he is wonderful, if you need his # FM mail me.
We are using J&P Entertainment. They are a small company, started by two of my brother's childhood friends (James and Pat), and are just wonderful. I booked them without hesitation because they are extremely professional and do whatever it is the bride and groom want. FM me if you want more info.
We are using Tom Gordon, he is excellent. Worked in radio for years, so he has top of the line equipment. He has an amazing voice, and is totally non-cheesy. He also has a singer with him who sings live during dinner. I work in advertising, and a few friends of mine in the radio industry used him. FM me if you want more info, he is the greatest.
We are using Music by Michael, he is a vendor here on the boards. We saw him at a friend of ours wedding and thought he was great..and the crowd was up and boogying.
We are using Let Us Entertain You. Bill (the owner) came recommended by a friend of mine who used them for her wedding and two sisters and brother also used them for their weddings. Then I find out that Bill is very good friends with Chippatrid's mom. We spend 2 hours with Bill and just knew that he was the DJ for us.
We are using SGE (satisfaction guaranteed entertainment) I heard great things about them. They are located in lynbrook and new hyde park in nassau county.

I am using Spin Around Sound, and saw them at Yabbobay's wedding, and really liked them they were not the typical annying dj's that I have seen at other events.
