fun location to take candid photos on wedding day nassau

fun location to take candid photos on wedding day nassau

we have time to go somewhere w/ our photographer and bridal party after the church...to take fun pictures
we have over an hour somewhere between Bayside and Westbury on the northshore...can anyone make any suggestions?? other than westbury gardens.
maybe a historic location or a village where we can take pictures in the street and at some other unique locations...but we'd prefer not to have to pay a site fee.

preferably not a garden since westbury manor already has one

do you have an EXTRA hr between the church and reception? or an hr to get there? Traffic can be a horror

we have over 2 and half hours to get to westbury manor from bayside...plenty of time..
figure a half hour to get out of the church..that would be 4:00 ...and our cocktail hr is at 8 but we can take pictures before hand starting at 6:15. so we can enjoy the whole cocktail hour.
i have never been to bethpage restoration..yet i work around the corner...i'll go check it out...

you have to pay $10 pp to get into old bethpage rest and that's just to visit. I'm sure there's a fee for a wedding party...and bear in mind you have to walk FAR down dirt roads to get to the buildings.

I love the idea though. :(
