I'm not a fan of the shower games, but I do like the embarressing questions one... 'how well do you know the bride/groom' type of games.

Then there's the usual... bridal bingo, bridal word scramble, etc

Re: Fun shower games?

for my sisters shower we made up a list of questions. Like How old is the bride? How old does the bride tell everyone she is? What is her favorite restaurant? How did her FH propose? Things like that. Then we gave everyone a copy as they arrived at the shower and had them fill it out. Then we had my sister fill one out and after we ate, we had everyone swap papers with the person sitting next to them (hehe like in grade school) and then we had my sister go through the answers. But people would share the silly things people wrote down and it was a lot of fun. That was the only game we had at her shower and it was fine.

Find out about the bride and groom and see what everyone knows about her.. Where was there first kiss? Where was the groom born? etc...

or you can ask the groom questions and see if the bride gets them right and see everyone invited can guess if the bride gets it right or wrong.

I did the best game at my friends shower a few weeks ago and it got great laughs and it's easy. It's called 'groom in a balloon', but I twisted it a bit. In google I typed in 'ugly men' and I printed out a bunch of pictures of scary, funny looking men. Then I printed out 3 pictures of the groom. I blew up enough balloons for everyone and I rolled up the pictures and stuck them in. I passed out the balloons and everyone was told to pop them. Whichever 3 people had the groom in their balloon won a prize!! Everyone loved it mainly because the pictures were great!

Toilet paper bride
Bride and Groom Trivia
Name that Love Sonet
Prize raffle
**Leave cards and pens on the table for everyone to fill out with words of advice for the BtB

**We did this at my shower and it was so much fun to open them all the next day.

I have to say that I like bridal bingo... it gives the guests something to do while the bride is opening her gifts! I've only been to one shower where it wasn't done and no one was paying attention to the bride when she was opening gifts. They were all having side conversations...
