My cousin is getting married and I want to make a CD for her to listen to as she gets ready with all songs about weddings. So far I have Billy Idol's White Wedding, and Goin' to the Chapel... any suggestions?

Oh it is definitley not about a wedding. It's about cocaine or an abortion. Haven't heard it in forever..so I don't remember which.

My sister rose by 10,000 maniacs. Fun and great musical beat.
Also, white trash wedding by the dixie chicks. Also very funny and up beat for when she is getting ready.
I love the idea. Can you burn one and send it to me! I'm jealous!!!

While it is not directly aout a wedding, 'I hear a Symphony' (Diana Ross and the Supremes) always makes me think of one, that's why it is my after-kiss celebratory song!

mary mac, it's a scottish or irish song. I'm definitely going to play it at my wedding
the chorus goes 'mary mac's mothr's making mary mac marry me, my mother's making me marry mary mac and I'm gonna marry mary for when may's taking care of me we'll all be feelin merry when I marry mary mac'
it's all about courting and the wedding..it's cute!
