Fun stuff for kids' table, but for different ages?

Fun stuff for kids' table, but for different ages?

We're going to have quite a few kids at our wedding, of all different ages. Most of them, I think, aren't toddlers, they're older kids from 7-12. I want to put some fun stuff on the kids' table in case they get bored, but I don't want it to be too babyish. However, I don't want anything too messy, or too breakable, or will cause running around and possible knocking over of elderly guests. Crayons and coloring books are always good, but most of the kids are older than that. I'm wondering more about card games or something like that.

Suggestions? Especially from brides who have done this?

I think the kids usually like to dance at weddings! You could make them little fun bags and put silly sunglasses and those paddle ball games and stuff like that too.

Kids can be distractive in this event esp. during the ceremony. My friend who just recently got married hired an entertainer, which they gathered all the kids ito separate room where they can play/draw/eat/dance...do all kids stuff. I'm not sure how much she pays but I think it was a great idea.

Thanks for the idea, but I don't want kids to be segregated from the festivities, I just want a few things in case they get bored with dancing, and I want them to interact with each other, although this will be the first time some of them will meet. Besides, there's no money for an entertainer, the kids are of all different ages, and the only other room is the cocktail hour room, and I'm sure they're going to be breaking it down and cleaning it while we're eating dinner. Also, a good number of the kids are IN the ceremony. All my neices and nephews are, for example, and that's eight of them.
