I like graphic design, so I would want a tablet that plugs into my pc, and I can draw on it and have the image digitized. A good one is like $300!

Oh geez. I understand what you're going through. I was laid off twice in one year. If you need any advice, or want to vent, FM me. I have one thing to say.... go to unemployment! It was the best decision I made, but I was stupid to wait so long.
On another note: I'd want a new car. Mine is over 12 years old.

I'm about to be laid off so I hear you guys..and my car is almost 16 yrs old.
