Hey Ladies....FH and I just came up with a fun idea together for the holiday season. We celebrate Christmas---and typically, spend a good amount of money on one another. But, with the wedding this year, we decided to have a little contest with one another. Who can come up with the best/most meaningful gift for $100 or less. I've been thinking like crazy!
Just an idea I thought I'd share!

What a great idea!! Last year at the holidays, we had just moved into our apartment and were on a budget. Clearly this year, we have the wedding and are on a strict budget. Last year and this year instead of big gifts, we just do stockings for each other. Maybe get him something engraved that he can use for the wedding? FH loves pocketwatches. I think I might get him one for his stocking.

exactly! I think I may put a 2010-2011 photo album together for him...that doesn't cost much, and yet, is priceless in it's own way...
will probably have a hanky embroidered for him....something to keep in his pocket on the day of...
maybe a man's manicure for the wedding day...although it would probably go wasted...lol....
box of his favorite homemade cookies....etc...that kinda stuff. Maybe even a burned CD of his favorite songs of all time....
I think it could be really fun!

That's great. You should do all of those things and present them to him as a huge mountain of gifts!! How special and fun!

We are buying each other wedding gifts for Christmas. I am getting him the Cigars he wants for the wedding and he is getting my the wedding tree I want.

There isn't much we need or want since we were saving for the wedding and now are saving for a house....last year we just did a couples massage at Mount Airy Spa and Casino. DH loved it so much, we are doing it again this year instead of getting each other gifts for the sake of something to open.
