I work at a bowling alley and we have a lot of fund raisers! Also you could get together a softball game, supermarket bingo, dance-a-thon?

The school I work in have two major fundraisers. One is a golf outing and the other is the auction. At the auction its both a live and silent auction and people donate all sorts of things (tickets to games, vacations, designer bags, gift certificates, etc.) They really bring in a lot of money

My orchestra used to do it, and we usually raised quite a bit - people are far more inclined to buy fruit over candy/cookies.
