funny little thing :)

One of the secretaries just asked me for the spelling of my married name so she can order me a new name plate

I got all giddy and excited writing my new name out for her

It was wierd it doesn't sound right yet, but I'm sure I'll get used to it

similar thing happened to me. we have a 'CQ' in our office, basically the person who is on duty that has to stay in the office all day and field people who come in to see someone that's not in the office that day. (confusing i know) so i needed to switch with another person since i was scheduled to be CQ on the day i leave for my HM (can't wait) and the woman i switched with had her day at the end of the month - so she crossed her name off the list and wrote my married name!! so weird that when i come back, it's like i will be a different person
