Funny Story!!
I went to Bridal Suite of Bayshore on Monday night and the funniest thing happened. As I was standing at the desk to 'check in' for my appt the phone rings. One of the salesgirls answers and as she is listening to the caller she looks like she is rather confused. What I gathered from the conversation, the caller was asking for a particular type of wedding gown. She asked the person their name a few times, finally got frustrated and then asked another salesgirl to take the call. When she put it on hold, she said to the other woman 'I think this is a man on the phone asking for a weding gown'. Now I work in Manhattan and have seen quite a few strange things but never expected to be on LI and witness a call like this. The other salesgirl took the call and when she hung up she said that the person told her that he WAS a man and that he wants to try on some wedding gowns. She told him that he would have to make an appt for during the day when they werent too crowded!!
Can you imagine?!?! I kept thinking that maybe it was a joke....but who knows!!
Well I hope I didnt offend anyone I just thought we could all use a little comic relief during this stressful time!!
