Even funnier is that I have met her, a few times. We have been dating for almost 7 years...LOL!

Re: Funny Story
HA! I think its funny that your cousin called before doing some investigating on her own - like asking around the family.
It probably happens more often than we'd think. I'm just thinking that Al's extended family and his mom's friends were probably like 'who's Lisa'? Especially with the way that bunch communicates - wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't known my name, in some cases they may not have known AL was even engaged
(seriously its nutty - we got engaged in June. We were at a family function in Dec and he introduced me as his fiancee and his aunt/godmother and uncle were like - What? you're engaged? - 6 months later!!) I think my whole family knew within 6 minutes of my mom finding out...

Re: Funny Story
When we sent out our STD's last month, we included not only both our full names, but my mothers(we have different last names) because she invited her cousins who I haven't seen in god knows how long. But, still one of her cousins called & left mea message saying I had sent them to the wrong family. I had to call them up & tell them who we were. My mother uses her maiden name so I really don't know how they could think we weren't related, but the phone call was very akward, basically convincing them they were my family. Oh well.

Ha! That is funny, and Lisa is right, you think she'd call her family first, rather than calling your cousin? Oh well. I guess this explains why the last bridal shower invitation I got said something like, 'you're invited to a shower for Karen M., future wife of Peter W.'

Re: Funny Story
Yeah! I guess it does make sense to include both names. Really is a good point...I mean hello...just call your mom! LMAO!
