funny/sweet e-mail - from my university librarian!
I e-mailed the librarian at my school's library last night because I could not access my interlibrary loan account and I need to do research and request articles for my dissertation.
I receive a response today that starts off,
'Hi Jaclyn, I understand that congratulations are in order: you have gotten married? Mazal Tov!'
I did a double take to make sure I opened the right e-mail started cracking up, b/c I've met this woman maybe twice, but she must feel like she knows me well b/c of all the research articles I have requested over the last four years!
She went on to tell me that she changed my last name in the library database and to let her know if it was okay...so sweet!
Makes me feel like i'm not just a number in a sea of students....
