FH and I went to Raymour and Flanigan last night and picked out our Bedroom and Living Room. Didn't order it because they are having a Friends & Family sale this weekend and you save 20% off any purchase over $2500 and 15% any less than $2500.
Definitely worth it, we saved almost $2000! And they just opened a new store on Old Country Road that's HUGE! If you go and just ask about the sale they'll give it to you.

How is their furniture? Is it nice? I saw a bedroom and living room set that I fell in love with at Ethan Allen on Northern. My grandparents are buying our bedroom set so I'm def going with the Ethan Allen one, but for my dining room, I'm up in the air bc it's gonna come out to $7500 and I would still need to buy an extra buffet table bc the china cabinet is more like a curio cabinet grrr....
maybe I'll take a ride to raymour and flanigan....which living room set did u go with? I've seen some on macy's website that I like so we'll see...

Hey Maggie!! They're furniture isn't too bad, I would say kind of in the middle.
The living room set we picked is called Marsala, I'll try to attach a pic. It's brown leather. I'm trying to re-create a living room that I had seen in the crate and barrel catalogue . . .
Anna, the living room and bedroom sets are really nice, I think I will go take a look at their things, It can't hurt.
Planning is going good, I have all the major vendors booked, I'm going to book the honeymoon next but I still have some time, I want to book it by January the latest.
Right now we're focusing a little more on our apartment, we're putting in a new kitchen so that's a pain in the butt.
I can't wait for my gown to come in, i remember yours came in early and I'm hoping mine does too....they told me february it would be here

Ugh, don't even talk about apartments, we gutted the entire thing!! Knocked down walls, tore down the bathroom and the kitchen. FH says I'll see some major progress this weekend, bc they had a lot of plumbing and electrical work to do. I'm hoping for it to be ready by Dec 1st.

my bedroom set is from there and I have had it almost three years, it is in mint condition and holds up very well.

FH and i just bought ours from there too we got lucky when they were doing their 5 years intrest free financing...they actually sell Bernhardt furniture which is a great name and quality.
we also recently got our china closet and our TV console from there too. This is the bedroom set
i feel like you should get a really nice bedroom set because you will have it forever ... buttt a living room set ... you know that is not going to last forever soooo i would get something nice but not too nice.

i might buy a really cheap kitchen table from Bob's furniture because were moving into an apartment and we know that we will prob get new furniture when we get a house ... you can check them out too ... my future sister in law (who usually buys very expensive things) got a sofa set for her basement from bob's and loves it! All her other furniture is from pottery barn but she loves her bob's sofa's just as much as her pottery barn stuff haha
