I decided to start a thread of places on LI those of us just starting out can find nice, affordable furniture. Im moving in a month and will be buying all new stuff. I figure there are others in my situation out there! Here are some places I know, feel free to add!

Drive down rte 110 in Huntington/Farmingdale - theres at least two places each block!! When I looked - that new 'Bob's' place seemed to have the best prices!!

Stay away from Levitts!!!! I had the worst experience with them. I will never spend another dollar in that store. A year later and I'm still having issues with them and my furniture. My friend also had a horrible experience when they bought their couch and loveseat.

I heard Bobs had good prices too- but I havn't heard anything about the quality.
