FH and I began furniture shopping yesterday and spent the day on 110 in Huntington/Farmingdale where all of the furniture stores seem to be located. So my question is for those of you who have bought furniture...where did you get it? It seemed so overwhelming and so many places had similar deals and pieces..... TIA

we actually made a mini vacation out of our furniture shopping! theres a furniture store called roomstogo(.com if you want to see the web site) and we checked out their locations and they had one in miami so we decided to go to that one and see- the prices are unbelievable and the quality is great!!!! Def worth it even if you go to a closer one (north carolina maybe?)

Our bedroom furniture is a mixture from Pottery Barn and the Bombay Company.

My daughter just bought a dining room set. She bought a table from The Place (in Carle Place) and the chairs & hutch from Ashley Furniture (also in Carle Place)

I just bought my living room set from the Place.
They were pretty good, except the furniture that was supposed to take 2 weeks took 3 months to come in (well, half of it came in in 2 weeks, we waited 3 months for the rest and had it all delivered at once.)

We just bought our dining room set at Drexel Heritage and our bedroom at Thomasville. I totally agree that furniture shopping is overwhelming. After a while everything starts to look the same!
