Out of my future inlaws.. I think I like my FFil the best. They're all really nice.. but he has got such a raunchy sense of humor. It's great. I can tell all off-color jokes to him and he loves them. The jokes he tells me are even more over the top. (for example.. he told me a joke about.. a boil-sucking dwarf.. I would transcribe it but I fear I would get banned. LOL)

i love both of them...but FMIL is easier to relate to b/c we are similar people.

I am blessed with really wonderful FILs...
I adore my FFIL, but in the same way I adore my Dad .. he's like a 'larger than life' figure.. Whereas my FMIL is more of a friend.
Actually I think I get along BETTER with my FMIL than my own mom , because we are more similar and she is a bit younger than my mom, a little more hip.. There aren't too many people who can say good things abuot their FMIL, so I know I'm lucky!
OK before I sound horrible, I do LOVE my mom to pieces .. but its that mother/daughter crap that gets in the way, ya know

If I had to choose I would say FFIL. But honestly, I am not a fan of either if them too much.

I like both of them. It is hard to choose. They both make me feel very comfortable and also make me feel like I am part of the family.

My FFIL passed away almost three years ago but I adored him! My FMIL is a doll and we have a great relationship.

I've only met FFIL. His wife (not FH's mom, FFIL was widowed young and remarried 10 yrs ago) cannot travel b/c of her health.
Although I was told that she was miffed that the wedding is here and not in Ireland. Oh well. Thems the brakes.
She also went into the hospital when FFIL visited us last Christmas (we tend to think she exxagerates her problem when she's not centre of attention) and said to FFIL on phone 'I'm never letting you leave me again!'
Yeah. FFIL is coming to the wedding so there goes that honey!
I don't not like her, I never met her but so far she hasn't won points with me.
I only have a MIL...but DH was raised by 2 other women (his father passed away before he was born so his aunt helped out and he had a nanny that has become a second mother to him) -- they are all the best...but I get along with his mother better...only b/c his 2nd mom doesn't speak much English and I don't speak much Spanish...

I'd take FIL over MIL....same goes for DH...he likes my dad and step-mom more than my real mother....neither of us are really close to our mothers....

I love my grandmother in law. She is the best and so very different from my MIL. I get along with her so well.

FH' has some great aunts and uncles ( there are a lot of them) , they are my fav's! i have a small family ( about 3 people in all!!!!) so I love his familys get togethers! There is like 30-40 immediate family members...some are better then others I like my FBIL's as well.....but DONT get me started on FSIL!

OH I hear ya ! Noone has a worse FSIL than I do .. shall we compare notes? LOL
One of my FSILs is a sweetie (and a BM), while the other is the polar opposite .. biggest beeeyatch I've ever met in my entire life..
