ok so i asked her if she wanted to come with me and my sister/MOH and my mom to look at wedding gowns. but she kept insisting that she is not sure cause she feels like shes intruding. and then she told me she feels that this is somethin special that i should be doing with them and she feels like she would be in the way. i love this woman to death and i really want her to be part of this and be included cause she has 1 daughter who was all ready married and i feel like she misses all of this. how can i convince her to come with us i really want her there. i want her to feel included. i love my MIL

i would definitely tell her how you feel.. insist back to her that she would not be in the way and that it means alot to you if she was there.
it would mean alot to me. i love my future in laws. they are very good to me. i juyst got my wisom tooth pulled yesterday and being that i have no insurance they insisted on taking care of the bill cause they said they love me and dont wanna see me in pain anymore. plus they made the down payment on my car cause i didnt have to money when i needed it. so you ladies could probably understand why i love these 2 sooo much and want her included

I agree with the others... you need to open your heart - either by letter or verbally. Tell her that you understand her wanting to allow you to have some special time with your mother - but that she is one of the most special people you know and soon nothing will be able to sever the family ties that you are creating. Tell her that you really and truly want her there and that if she doesn't WANT to go, you can accept that - but that if she does want to go she should in no way feel awkward or intrusive.
