FutureMrsSoltan...and other sanitation FWs!!!

How are you holding up with the crazy hours!?? I haven't seen FH since Friday night. He's been working 13 hours each night.

And now they might have to work xmas!??

I think we need a support group!

I can support you as a cop FW... mine's working christmas eve, christmas, and day after christmas. and new years eve and new years day.

better question should be how are you dealing with his crap salary and shame of his job? Remeber that crap?!?!

FH and I have worked off hours for the past few months. Its like we have a long distance relationship. Best advice I can give, is when you do have the time together, dont stress about planning, just enjoy eachother... it really does help.

I think I've told you that my dad was a cop...when I was young & he was new on the force, he had to work all of the holidays. It was rough for me and my mom...but as time went on and he had more seniority, he was able to secure those days off. Brighter skies ahead for you!

I think I've told you that my dad was a cop...when I was young & he was new on the force, he had to work all of the holidays. It was rough for me and my mom...but as time went on and he had more seniority, he was able to secure those days off. Brighter skies ahead for you!

i cant stand it, i havent seen him since saturday.

i hate 7 - 7 shifts

he just surprised me with the ' i might be working on xmas'

i'm right there with you ladies..what's even worse is seeing my our little boy (barely 2) get so happy when daddy wakes up..only to be hysterically crying at the window like 2 hours later when he leaves again...omg it's so sad

i'm used to it and at least i c him a couple hours everyday...but it's so hard on our son

if they def' hafta work on christmas i'll probably lose my s h y t
