FYI David's Bridal

So last week my brother's girlfriend broke up with him, she was supposed to be in my bridal party and we paid for her dress since she was still going to school and everything. So when I went to pick up the dresses I asked the saleswoman if there was anything I could do about exchanging the dress. She said I could exchange it for another dress or accessories of equal or lesser value. I thought 'Great' let me go back next weekend and get my girls their bridesmaid gifts. So here I am at david's bridal today with the dress ready to buy accessories for my bridesmaids and they said I couldn't do that. I had to exchange it for another dress and they really didn't have to let me do that anyway since all sales are final.

So I was disappointed that I couldn't get five pocketbooks and jewlery for my girls but I did get a nice bridal shower dress. It ended up working out just fine so if any of you run into this situation at least you know that they will bend a little on that 'All Sales Are Final' rule.

I'm glad it ended up working out in the end. That is so typical David's bridal though, telling you one thing and then taking it back. They aggravate me so much!! But great news that were able to find a shower dress, and that's one thing off the list!

i would've spoken to the manager & said perhaps she needs to train her salespeople better so they aren't giving out the wrong info! Glad it worked out for you in the end!
