FYI - not to scare anyone....but...

This is scary, but rest assured their are things that go on behind closed doors and we should all feel safe about those things.

My FI told me last night that a pilot for air france is on the FBI's most wanted list. He is apart of al quada. The feds were looking for him, the pilot found out and fled. It wasn't on the news b/c air france doesnt want to start hysteria. The way it was figured out is when the airline logs the pilots name and passangers name into the system it cross checks the names with the FBI's list.

So please do not be scared to fly, and just because we don't see things doesn't mean Department of Homeland Security or the airlines are not doing their jobs.

Department of Homeland security is doing everything they can to protect us, the skies, and our country.

Although it is absolutely terrifying thought, those cancelations on Christmas and Christmas Eve made me feel so much safer.

Even with this post, I feel better finding out about this a week AFTER a whole bunch of flights were canceled. It tells me that the powers that be are doing their jobs. And thank God for that.

I had heard that on the news. I don't think it was that specific, but they knew there was a pilot that was trained by al queda. I hope they catch him.

My FI works in the terminal, they dont give out all the details b/c al queda could be watching the news so they only give out bits and pieces.

Thats so scary!!! My whole family is flying this week and next week...its so damn scary these days, but thanks for telling us how they are doing their jobs behind the scenes, that gives me some comfort! Im glad your fh is safe! Must eb scary being in that terminal!

He works in the basement with the machines checking luggage and just finished cross training to check passengers and I get so nervous for what he does. He acts like its nothing, and I sit at home and refuse to watch the news
