G2G Game night?

I have been obsessed with game nights for a while. I think it is a great inexpensive way to have fun and laughs w friends. I know many of us are trying to save money for our days, so i was curious to know if anyone thought it would be a good idea to get together and have a game night. I could volunteer my house, or we can throw out other locations if a house makes people uncomfortable...we could add fun things like bring your favorite appitizer and the recipe w enough copies for each bride and we can all leave w some great recipe ideas...

Just a thought... hope i wasnt out of line w this one.

I absolutely LOVE this idea! I love game nights... especially with wine! I am more than willing and would love to host my space if you would like... I have an available space where I live that is a recreation room (with plenty of tables, chairs, space, pool tables, foozeball, tv's) that I can use at my leisure privately if anyone doesn't want to do a home I live in Dix Hills, which I believe is the middle of the island as well if that's easier for transportation for everyone?

That's a great idea. We could do once a month at different places. Everyone is welcomed to my house and FH usually works Friday nights so I have the whole house to myself

I love this idea too! This way we have open dates and can can around it! also different locations might help some of the girls who are in the city or way out set navigate better!

This is a get-together idea I can stand behind. I love games!

I LOVE this game!!!! I also have Whats yours like. Its is sooooo awesome!!! Its like everyone sees the word, and for example the word is 'bathing suit'. so one person is the guesser and they have to ask everyone what thiers is like. So someone would say 'mine is wet'. and someone else would say 'mine is tiny'. It is soooo funny for they way everyone describes what random, everyday things is like.

I love games too! I cant host either but I can go to whereever it is!!! And I will bring a HUGE bottle of wine!!! Wine makes EVERYTHING better!

I haven't played either of those games but sounds like fun! Anyone ever played Gestures? You get a random word and you have to act it out w/o using words to make everyone guess.

I'm an avid gamer (love board games, card games, etc) and I haven't heard of this one. Now I'm off to Google it..
