Gag me with a lipstick

Gag me with a lipstick

I was in Kohl's today and noticed a woman and her daughter trying on makeup colors. They were putting on lipsticks directly on their lips. I've seen people in Sephora doing this too, putting eyeshadow colors on their eyes and even using liners.

I always test stuff on my hand only, but I think I see more people putting stuff on their faces. Am I uptight, or is this gross, not to mention unsanitary?

I know in Sephora like other stores in the mall...they sanitize their lipsticks BEFORE using it...

Thats part of the reason that I buy from the Dept Store at least there is some measures in place keep that from happening..although I am sure that it still does

I used to work in a department store and let me tell you, people are disgusting. People would give them selves make overs with the testers and would be so mad that a lancome lipstick was $18.

There was one time I was working in the Junior swimwear department and we had a sign on the bathing suit rack that said 'Please wear undergarments under your bathing suit' The woman looked at the sign and went 'yeah right' and she was NASTY!!!

Always always always wash your clothes before your wear them

I have a MILLION retail stories.....

Oh yuck. I worked at a sporting store that sold swim suits. Some people are so gross, they would leave stains on the suits. Stains! Definitely wash clothes before you wear them....you never know.
