Hey! It went really well. The principal said that they liked me very much but they dont know if they can hire me because Im not secondary ed. certified. So she's going to find out and let me know. Im kinda in limbo right now thats why I didnt mention it. Thanks for thinking about me!

I know! Its for a special ed. teacher in a CTT class. Im certified in special ed. but only up to 6th grade. This is 7th grade math and science. Angela thought I could still do it because they hire out of cert. all the time, but the principal said not for special ed. though. Oh well, at least it was a good experience!

Im in the same boat Gail - I got called for a 7th grade special ed math position & when I told them I only had cert to 6th grade they we're like..'oki doki...thanks anyway'...ugh - so frustrating! I am onyl 3 credits form getting my birth-2nd special ed certification & it's killing me b/c I could have been doing EI work if I had that right now already. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You never know Gail...we have 7-12 teachers teaching 6th grade CTT since our school is a middle school (6-8) and not a junior high (7-9). My fingers and toes are crossed for you!
