Gald it's over, but SAD it's over!

I'm a little depressed! I miss my dress, my photographer and videographer....I don't want to plan the wedding again, but I def want to relive the day, and am sad it's over!! When does this go away??

The day after the wedding, DH & I watched all of our friends and family clear out of the hotel that we all had been in for the past 2-4 days. There was no one left in the hotel and all of the lights were out. We both got depressed, and we went home that night instead of the next day.

However, what was gotten me through being sad that it is over is this: It's not over. It is just beginning. Your life as husband and wife is what is most important. The most important part of that day was starting this new adventure. There will always be a party to plan and those people who came to your wedding really do care about you. You know that because they took the time to come see you get married that they will be part of your future.

Remember, a wedding is the farthest thing from an ending--it's a beginning.

it doesnt Im sad too. I miss the day because it went so fast i hardly remember it

It's always bittersweet! Don't worry, it won't last long- life gets in the way.

am I the only one who isnt sad? I was so happy it was over and behind us and we could stop talking wedding.
the only thing I miss is wearing the dress, but I still sometimes put it on and check if I still fit into it
other than that I was really happy to move into my 'adult' life officially

I said to DH on the HM 'babe now thats the wedding's over we have nothing to look forward to'
so DH says 'this is the most depressing thing u ever said to me '

but there are so many more things to plan: baby showers, round # bdays, kids' bday and of course our kids' weddings - sooooo cant wait to be a MOB/MOG
