...put her foot down and stand up to whiny, pouty, cranky, selfish FSIL - and tell her to stop acting like a child?
(ok that's more of a FSIL vent but my FMIL has gotten SO much better lately. when i talked to her yesterday she said hadn't seen us for a while and she missed us!)

Good one (and i love my FMIL dearly, there's just one issue annoying me)...
Why can't my FMIL tell her relatives that they have to go somewhere else in between church and reception so it's not too chaotic while we're taking pics on their property. We've offered 3 good solutions!

Go and get a bra and girdle already so I take you to your first dress fitting. Figure out what shoes you are wearing, and oh yes, Thom McAnn went out of business a few years ago so you can't take back an old pair to have them dyed to match your dress. How can you dye them anyway WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A SWATCH !

...realize this is not her wedding and chill out and stop ordering things that I already have (like my cake topper because she hated the one I got!!)
I really do love her, she just drives me nuts sometimes!! lol

Help her son out even a little bit with the wedding. My FH is not sleeping at night because of all the crap she is pulling with the wedding!!!! He is stressing majorly!!! They won't help out at all.... We are paying for most of the wedding ourselves but my parents have helped quite a bit. But FMIL has no problem wanting to invite all these extra people. As long as she doesn't have to pay for them!!!! She is complaining about the price of the tux for FFIL ($140.00) And our shower present was the rehearsal dinner at some crappy chinese buffet restaraunt!!!! We asked her if we could just go for pizza instead and she said NO!!!! UGH!!!!

She wore a black a white poka-doted skirt (which I could live with) then............................ a white (shelf-bra) tank top.......with no bra at all........
I'll see if I can find a pic.........this is the best one.......wish I could have hid her behind the flowers all day.......

OMG! Aren't they meant to be UNDER a shirt!!! Maybe she forgot to finish getting dressed

I really have no idea what she was thinking.......This is a woman who wears sweaters in the summer because she is always cold..........and really she has some beautiful clothes.........I couldn't believe my eyes when she walked in at the shower............
Her daughters were so embarrased (for her really) and I am just hoping that someone sees this dress before she wears it to the Wedding.........

stop acting like the possessed child in the Exorcist every time someone mentions an idea about the wedding that she does not approve of (literally, I should carry a video camera around for the day when her head spins around!)

Even though my wedding is past, I'm still playing.
Can you show a little interest in our wedding. Since I don't have a Mom, you could've offered to go dress shopping or to fittings. You have a daughter who got married already, so you do know about that stuff. Also, thanks so much for offering to help with my shower. Also, thanks for the $25 gift.
