I am unsure about having games at my Bridal Shower.. my MOH (my sis) keeps asking me if I want them or not.. but I just dont know... Do people still play games and stuff?

For my sister's shower, we had games. Everyone really enjoyed them.
When people arrived, we put a name tag on each person's back with the name of half of a famous couple (Fred and Wilma Flintstone, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, etc). It was a great ice breaker and got people from both families talking.
Then, after the meal but before opening presents, we did a purse scavenger hunt. We did it so that each table was a team. Each person at the table that had the most points won a prize.
Instead of bridal bingo, we would set a timer. The person whose gift she was opening when the timer went off got a prize.
Then, after the gifts, we did a word scramble for people that hadn't won a prize yet.

Yes! there are so many good ones that you can play! IIt is a fun way to entertain your guests.
My fav shower game is the purse game. Basically common and uncommon items that can be found in a woman's purse are allotted different points and the woman with the most points wins a prize.
it is fun b/c most women carry their whole lives in their purse...so something like a Swiss army knife would be 10pt ( who the heck would have one?) the more crazy the item the more points it is worth.
I am proud to say I won this game at the last shower I went to! my purse is my 2nd home.

i am...dont stone me but bridal showers are so boring lol..i need some games to liven it up...noone wants to watch me open presents..i dont even wanna watch me open presents

Thats my problem too... I hate being the center of attention so I want games but most are so boring... I never heard of the purse one and that one does sound fun!

Oh see, and I'm obnoxious and I CAN'T WAIT to open presents! I agree about it being boring though. Plus people like winning stuff!

ok b4 the party ask the husbands/boyfriends of like 5 of ur good friends or ur mom sisters whoever and dont for get to do ur fh too..
ask all questions that u should know the answer to.fav color,first date ...they ask n write them doen.u dont know what is being asked...so at the party u sit there n they ask u ..u give ur answer..then u hold up what he said..every time u get one wrong stick a piece of gum in ur mouth...do like 10 -20 questions per couple..its alot of fun..
