so, i just saw the thread about seeing each other before the ceremony and it got me thinking.....
Since we're getting married in Dec, the sun will set early, and I'd like to get some pix during daylight, but I don't know if I want to see FH b4 the church. We're getting married on a Friday with CH starting at 7. Would it be OK to have the church sometime in the early afternoon (say 2ish?) so we can take daylight pix afterwards?

Re: gap btwn ceremony and CH
i think thats a little early...my CH starts at 630 and my church is at 3, its also a greek ceremony which is close to an hour long...maybe ask some of your close family what they think...(not mom and dad...more like aunts/cousins) If you have a lot of out of towners or your RH is far from the church this might be difficult for them...

Well my CH is the same time and church is at 3. I think that 2 would be fine. It's your day. Do what works for you and FH. Whoever wants to get to the church will make it whether its at 2 or 3 IMO.

You can have the church that early to get pictures in but know that because its on a Friday the early the ceremony is the less people will come. I had my ceremony at 230 on a sat and the CH was at 6 and we had plenty of time for pics.

well what would you expect people to do in between? would they have somewhere to go - specifically out of town guests..
would they just go back to the hotel for an hour or so and then come back? then are you paying for their transportation back and forth?

hmm good point about the transportation....I suppose I can always ask my mom and FMIL to have a little something at the house for ppl, but I didn't think about how the OOT ppl would get there....
