Garden City Hotel

Has anyone stayed there?? Do you think its worth the $$ for the night of our wedding??

We stayed there, but just got a regular room, not the wedding package. I think the regular room was $300 less - it was actually the same room category, we just didn't get the rose petals, etc. So, for us, it was worth it - nicer than the Marriott, etc. - but we also didn't spend much time there since we left for our HM the next day.

So, Do you think Its better to stay there then like a holiday inn.... Did they know you were there for your wedding night - Did you get any type of upgrades??

We are staying at the GCH on a Sat night in Nov. We reserved the Superior King for $250. We didn't get the rose petals either, but my bridal party is going to go in and chill a bottle of champagne, throw some rose petals on the bed and leave some choc covered strawberries. We went to see the room, its beautiful. I actually liked it better than some of the brial suites I saw in less expensive hotels.

It's all a personal preference. If you can go see it yourself you should!

My FI booked the Wedding night room for one of his friends when he was his BM and they said it was really nice..I think we are going to do it too.

We got an awesome deal on a Superior King room for our wedding night. we got it through our tuxedo place in Garden City- Boneventure. If you order your tuxes for the bridal party through them you get a voucher to get 1/2 off your room. We're paying $175 for our room!!!
Defintiely a great way to save some $$ by ordering your tuxes there.

We got our room for free there. It was a promotion from John Anthonys for the month when we booked. We'll be there the 24th.

We are staying there is two weeks for our wedding night - we have a suite - but we got it for like 50% off because of garden city resident rates, blocking rooms there AND they offer discounts if you have your wedding at the club.

It was a beautiful hotel. Dhs best man left a bottle of champagne for us which was so sweet . We didn't have any rose petals or anything but that was OK because it was FREE

I've stayed there a few times and love it!
I was just there for Valentines Day. They did the rose peddles, Champaign and strawberry thing. It was great but I wouldn’t have missed it had we not had it. The place is wonderful either way.
