So I booked the GC Hotel for our wedding night but I was wonder if any of you married girls stayed there and what you thought. We are getting the wedding package and suite. Also any pictures od the room?

I always wanted to do that ever since I was a little girl but our wedding was in Woodbury so we stayed at the Inn at Foxhollow. You should definitely go for it!!

We called GCH for our wedding in December 08. They quoted the Bridal Suite for $550 a night and rooms starting at $209 a night.
I know I would like to stay in the suite the night before the wedding because I am not from LI and I am getting married at JT. That way I have the suite for me and my girls to get ready in the morning and a decent room to take pictures......
I may book two hotels for guests who don't want to spend that much - I felt there rates are really pricey!
Id love to see pics of the suite though!

i stayed in a regular room for my birthday last year. . . and it was the nicest hotel i have ever been in

that's odd... they told me that there weren't any bridal suites, and all the rooms were pretty much the same the only thing that was different was you could purchase a bridal package which included champage, strawberries and breakfast or something like that... weird.

that is def weird because they didnt tell me that there was a bridal package - i didn't ask though - i just asked how much it would be for the bridal suite and what the rate was for regular rooms and how many i could block......interesting!
does anyone know if its possible to negotiate hotel room prices? lol

I think they may have suites, but nothing specifically bridal. I believe what they do is add on the bridal package (champagne, strawberries, etc...) to a suite price.

thats the same package that we booked. it came out a lot cheaper
