I am having my guests stay at the Wingate, that's definite. I was wondering if anyone can give me their opinions on where my FH and I should stay the night of our wedding.
Garden City or Wingate???
Which suites are nicer? I'm going to do a search but if anyone has pics please share!!!

We're going to stay at the Wingate with our guests.
ETS: Francesca and our BM both said we could call up Jessica at Wingate to see when we could go in to see the rooms and suites.

well garden city will have nicer suites. Their wedding night packages are alsomore so not sure what you are looking so spend

tilde is staying there and she posted the price a few times, it was about $700, shes getting married in January though so not sure if the price changes for other months, she would know better since she already booked it

My wedding is in Sept and Garden City Hotel told FH and I that we would not be able to reserve a suite because of renovations.
They are redoing floors 6 and up and 6 has all the suites on it. So we decided we would rather get the Bridal Suite at Wingate and stay with our guests and party a little after. And the suites in Wingate are very nice!
But make sure you check to see if the renovations will be going on at the time of your wedding...
But the Bridal Suite at Wingate is about 300-400$

Actually I booked the Wingate and the suites were $199-$250.
Also it is only $100 an hour for the bar to stay open for an after party

Garden City hotel - i went there for a fundraiser for the first time and wanted to die. I never seen a hotel like that before. Man if you can park bentley's in the front then you have some damn $$$$ which I do not. I did artwork for free for this fundraiser and got treated like royality. I didn't see the suites because we asked the price per night and dropped dead.
If your guests can afford to stay there I would deff. pick it.
