Garden City Hotel vs The Carltun

I need help!!

I am so torn between these two venues. I'm getting roughly the same price at both so I can't use budget as a deciding factor.

I saw Garden City Hotel first and absolutely fell in love. I loved how flexible they seemed, loved that it was a hotel, and they seemed so accommodating.

I can't, however, deny how gorgeous the building and grounds of the Carltun were. They didn't seem very flexible, though.

I have this love for Garden City Hotel, but I can see rationally how beautiful the Carltun is.

Opinions?? Anyone had weddings/been to weddings at either?

Anything would be so appreciated!

I've heard nothing but good reviews about the Carltun! I've never been to a wedding there myself, but know many people who have and they've raved about it.

I dont think you can go wrong with either.

I agree, either is definitely beautiful, but I've never been to a wedding at either! Maybe if you're having a lot of out-of-town guests or if your friends party hard it would be nice to have the wedding within a hotel. :)

I've been to a wedding at both and was really close to booking the Carltun...both are great, but I think the food was better at the Garden City Hotel...good luck...you can't go wrong with either one!

I have heard awesome things about the garden city hotel. I really wanted to have my wedding there but it was over our budget. Hope you have yours there :)
