Garden / Spring Theme

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a Garden/Spring Theme Wedding - Centerpieces, I was thinking maybe watering cans with flowers in them or something like that - any ideas? Thank you!

I love the watering can idea. Also using terra cota pots for decorations -- or favors, small pots with a bulb.

You can use mason jars with candles in them and decorate the tops of the jars or cover them with decoration. With a garden wedding (if it's outside) use a lot of the natural area as decoration instead of buying lots of flowers, etc. if you can.

If it's an early wedding you can use teapots as centerpieces perhaps or decorations. Use fruit in your centerpieces, like lemons, for color and fragrance.

For our Engagement party we had med-large size terracotta pots with daisys. Then around them we had the tiny ones with 1 singel daisy in them & it is a pen. That was also the favor for our gests. We made them ourselves. I dont know if I am explaining them well, but they were a hit. I now have to make them for a friends sweet 16 lol. They were very inexpensive & looked great. Just and idea, good luck.

I had always wanted to give out terra cota pots for favors, until we set a date in December, and the idea just didn't go with our winter theme. If you give out the pots, you can put a cute little poem attached to it saying something like 'Each time you gaze upon this pot, remember when we tied the knot'...that's what we WERE going to do! Good luck!

I am in the summer...but it is my theme...

it is very cost effective...I told my florist...give me all types of colorful summer flowers...so they are all in season...
