Re: Garden theme?
How gardeny do you want it? I have some stuff saved on my hard drive at home. We did a semi garden theme around gerber dasies. If you look in my album you can see our cardbox-in the shape of a watering can. I decirated it with garlands from the dollar store. I had all the girls weear silk dasies in their hair and covered the cake in flowers. The professional pics are in my album.
Hmm butterflies...You can add butterfly bo-k charms to the BM bo-k and yours. For your flower girl, have her wear butterfly wings and a floral wreath on her head. You can also sew a butterfly applique to her dress. Very cheap to buy and makes her stand out a little which she would like. For your bridesmaids, you can also sew butterfly appliqués on their dresses: try the edge of a sleeve, near the neckline, or along the hem. If possible, use appliques that are the same color as the dresses, or try dying the appliqués to match.
You can make your own butterfly garter or order one. Hmm add butetrflies to your guestbook if you have one or for a photo frame, you can glue the faux butterflies they sell at places like AC moore to the matting of a photo frame leaving room for people to sign of course. Add butetrflies and flowers to your invites. So many ideas really. Make butetrfly place cards-cut them into the shape of butterflies and hang them from tree branches you insert into a flower pot of moss and that green moldy stuff for floral arrangements.

Centerpieces for Your Garden Soirée
For your floral arrangements, concentrate on old-fashioned flowers like hydrangeas, daisies, mums, sunflowers, or grape hyacinth.
Place some of your blooms in silver mint julep cups, drinking glasses, or tall clear vases -- nothing so fussy it takes away from the beauty of your flowers. Let your guests take these lovelies home after the party winds up.
Watering Can Centerpiece. Fill galvanized watering cans with baby's breath and a few cream or yellow roses. Buy elastic bead bracelets from the dollar store, and use them to decorate some of your gardening equipment, such as gloves and trowels. Arrange the decorated garden equipment around the watering cans.
Bread Centerpieces. Group bread sticks upright in silver pitchers or ceramic jars. Or group small, artisan peasant breads -- the rustic kind covered in flour dust -- and group with cheddar chunks or daisies on a tiered cake tray.
Feathered Friend Centerpieces. Collect old-fashioned wire bird cages from garage sales and thrift stores, or buy from a craft store. Line the bottom of each cage with floral moss or wheat grass. Decorate with ribbons or flowers. Fill with a (fake) pair of lovebirds.
Buy unpainted wooden birdhouses from any craft store, like Joanne's or Michaels. Make small pedestals for each out of two by fours, if desired. Paint each birdhouse an antique gray/white. Adorn with floral moss.
Or use a silver cake plate on a pedestal, or one silver plate glued to a silver-tone bowl turned upside down, to create a platter. Top the cake plate with a large bird's nest, purchased from a craft store. Surround the nest with moss and daisies, and fill with mint egg soaps. Let guests know the soaps are for them to take when they leave.
Wire Centerpieces. Buy black wire teapots, or black wire/wrought iron doll-size chairs (about 18 inches high) from your local garden center or online. Fill the base with moss or a shallow wheat grass tray, and twine tea roses and ivy through the sides
Plant Basket Centerpiece. Buy cast-iron hanging flower baskets from Walmart or other major retailer. Instead of a coconut liner, fill with floral moss. Top with durable fruit (pears, apples) and white violets.
Teapot Centerpiece. Arrange each bouquet of flowers in a copper or soft floral teapot.
Potted Plant Centerpiece. Grow white violets in antiqued, painted terra cotta pots. Hot-glue seashells, pearly buttons or stones around the rim. Insert beaded wire bees and dragonflies into each pot (can double as place frames).
Lollipop Centerpiece. Loosely group four or five old-fashioned spiral lollipops in a mason jar

Re: Garden theme?
You're weclome :) The watering canss actually look great. In hindsight thats what I wish i had gone with. We didn't because the cans we found were too big and would have really required arrangements but Ive seen the tall ones that look almost like milk containers in AC Moore and they have smaller mouths. Would be very easy to just insert a pretty arrangement of flowers.

Re: Garden theme?
I had a flower pot themed shower...well, for the most part. My mom did african violets for favors. I love how she arranged them (she actually got the idea from Martha Stewart Weddings). Then, she got cupcakes....some looked like actual flower pots with terracotta fondant pots. Sorry, didn't work. Pics in album under bridal shower.

Re: Garden theme?
Garden themes can become so absolutely unique. There is som uch to work with that you really can never find two of the same weddings... Plus the colors can be so beautiful. Ive been to a couple where they used a mini pot with a seedling and dirt compact and made a cute poem. We ended up with basil and tomato seeds and have been enjoying them since. Its a nice treat, and old and young like it... Dragon flies are beautiful, as are butterflies and multi flowered centerpieces can be SO inexpensive!
