anyone getting ready at the Garden city Hotel? HOw are the prices? do they allow you to take pictures? Did you see the rooms before you booked? TIA
I've stayed there before. I really dont see what the big deal is. The place is gorgeous, but the rooms are average. Prices for a regular room I believe start at $300.
I am planning on booking a suite and blocking regular rooms for out-of-towners. My sister's friend just blocked rooms there and got $190 for a king bed and $170 or $175 to two doubles. I was quoted higher a few months ago when I first inquired a/b it, so when I call to book, I'm using her rates as a negotiater if they quote me higher. I was also quoted $385 for an executive suite. If you want the wedding package, it is a bit more $$ for the same suite, but it includes rose petals, champagne, and few other things I can't remember. I was able to see the rooms no problem-just go there and ask them at the desk.

I inquired about 1 year ago about having a wedding there. The price per person (one yr ago) was starting at $200 pp and it went up depending on what you wanted. At that time they weren't done renovating the new Ballroom, but i heard it is now gorgeous!
