does anyone know where i can get a garter for saturday? i tried a sports website but they never shipped my item and they charged my card and i can't get in touch with them by phone or email. and i told them that i needed it by tomorrow. so if anyone of you lovely ladies know of a good store that would have a selection of garters please please please let me know. Did you order yours from All Sports Weddings (aka http://thegartergallery.com)? If so, I had the SAME EXACT problem I've tried getting in touch with them 3 times so far & I haven't heard a word

yikes! how long ago did u order??? in my review i posted for all sports weddings i mentioned this too....i waited till right before the wedding & got it literally 2 days before! my garter was adorable but it came so late!!! anyone who's gonna use them, the garters are great but order in ADVANCE!!!!! Hope u found one!

i ordered it July 2. it just pisses me off that they don't respond to my email which i wrote to them on saturday and they dont answer the phone. i used my target card and i spoke to them today and they said i shouldn't have a problem with getting my money back sooooo hopefully thats true!

You should try David's Bridal they have a nice selection of garters even a basketball one that i know myFH will love. Good Luck!
Her site mentions that she *can* do rush orders if she has availability. You might want to try and contact her if you are set on getting sports themed one.

If you cant find one maybe consider kind of DIY'ing one...buy one that is one color that you are looking for and get a charm for that sport-no it wont be a team but it may work and sew it on

You can dispute the charge through your credit card company. If you are a good customer and you dispute a minor charge, they will refund you right away.
Sorry - you should put up a vendor warning on some of the other boards to warn girls about this site. Seems like you aren't the only one with the problem!

yeah i did that yesterday they said there was no problem in disputing it sooo hopefully soon i'll get my money back haha..God knows i need it.

The only thing I can say is order in advance.... I ordered pretty late and it did take a few weeks to come....I got extremely nervous because it came two days before the wedding. The garter was absolutely adorable, but order in advance, and lie about your wedding date!

I honestly wouldn't recommend them at all. Since I ordered it in early May, I told them that I needed it for my wedding on 7/2 (a white lie, but I figured that 2 full months was plenty of time). It's now been 2 1/2 months since I placed the order, they have my $, they won't answer any of my calls or my 4-5 emails, they've now 'missed' my 'wedding' by 2 1/2 weeks & I've gotten no where (I contacted my credit card company last week, but was told that it can take up to a month for the dispute to go through)...It's like they're a ghost company...there to take your $$, but then they vanish

now thats just messed up. they definitely are like a ghost company.

For any garter I know you can find them at party stores... like party fair or party city.... them also have them in Davids Bridal - usally by the registers! Hope that helped!

i was going to use her but then my FH found another one on ebay so he ordered it, but she got back to me a few hours later after i did one of those confirmation things. hope that helps a little :)
