Garter and Cake Knife & Server

Is it 'wrong' to get just plain not expensive ones?

I am not finding ANYTHING I like!!!

I had two ideas for the garter:
1-w/ handcuffs b/c FH is a cop (and I used to be, that's how we met)

OR

2-Tampa Bay Buccaneers b/c FH played football for 2 yrs and their jerseys were almost the same.

But I a afraid that FH will jsut go 'oh', as if I put in the thought and he just didn't get it or give a cr@p!

Thoughts?

we used the halls knife and server because it was one less thing i had to bring to the hall, and i could have cared less what our knife looked like... i wasnt too fond of the ones we got at the shower...

and for the garter... i would do the cop one!! i cant tell you if your FH will notice or not based on my experience because my DH through it into the chandlier by accident... we did get it down eventually... two weeks after the wedding!!
