GARTER AND TOSS GARTER QUESTION!

OK,
WHAT are you guys doing and married recently brides
how does this work>?? I bought a fairly nice blue garter I want to keep
I bought a blue garter to throw for like five bucks in the flea market..... what do I do.... where two on one leg? One on each leg??? what are you guys doing? I mean, after it comes off, doesnt moments later they make him throw it? I dont want the good one thrown
this board is so helpful for stuff like this

I'm not doing it -- but from what I hear -- generally brides wear both of them on the same leg (right I think) -- except the good one they hike all the way up (mid-thigh) -- and the throw-away they leave at just-above knee level (that way you husband doesn't look like he's trying to pull off your underwear).

You can stop at the bridal suite before the bouquet toss to add the throw away & make the necessary adjustments or you could just take off the good one and put on the throw away.

My brother got married this weekend. My SIL wore two on her left (? can't remember and I was on who helped her put it on). The good one hiked up high and the throw away was worn lower.

THANKS for the quick response!! I think I will wear the crappy one underneath and tell him to just take and throw the bottom one
so is it the right or left leg??Or it doesnt matter?

Show him which one you want him to throw. Put your good garter very high on your leg, the other lower. I hate seeing a groom going up to mid-thigh in the middle of a dance floor anyway.
