I'm not. You only need one if you're doing a garter throw of if you want to wear one.

i'm wearing one and tossing one... FH caught a garter at a wedding that we went too (and i caught the bo-K) so I'm going to use that one to toss... it worked for us, maybe it'll work for some other lucky couple!!
