Garter Question

Garter Question

I love the personalized garters and have my eye on one but it can run me like $50 is that too much? What is a good price for a garter?

hey there
i bought a personalized garter from Hand Crafted Creations....it cost me about $40 or so, but I love it. She really did a great job personalizing it for us. (NYPD garter--with our wedding date embroidered on the back)

Is it a little overpriced...yes. I agree, but it's one of those things that I thought was so cute and worth it!

I personally didn't want to spend the money on the personalized garters, but I loved the look so I am making my own! I bought one of those garters that Target had way back for $1, bought a NY Rangers pin for $5 and bought ribbon from A.C. Moore for about $1.50 (red, blue and white). All in all it will cost me under $10! I also bought another $1 garter for my throw away. However, if I didn't think I could make it on my own, I would have spent the money so I say go for it! Especially if it comes with the throw away.

I got something very similar from Hand Crafted Creations and I did think it was a bit much for a garter but I really wanted it and I know FH will get a huge kick out of it so I splurged.
