Garter Question

I have 2 garters, one to throw and the other to keep. Do I wear both or just one? How does it work when my FH has to take it off?

I ACTUALLY JUST ASKED MY SIL THIS QUESTION SHE TOLD ME WEAR BOTH, WEAR THE ONE THAT IS BEING THROWN LOWER AND MAKE SURE YOUR FH TAKES THE RIGHT ONE OFF OF YOU, SOME OF THE LADIES ARE HAVING SPECIAL GARTERS MADE YOU DON'T WANT TO THROW THAT ONE
