I don't know if this has been done, but I am very curious how many people plan on doing the garter toss and the bo-k toss? If you had your wedding, let me know which ones you did.
The last few weddings we have been to didn't have any of them.
If you don't mind, I would also like to hear your reason (ex. we don't have many single people or you think it is corny).

We´re not doing either one. But I´m still wearing a garter and I would like to do an Annviersary Dance and give the couple a bouquet.
(The reasons are mixed. I dont´know how I feel about FH going up my skirt in front of my dad, i think it would really make him uncomfortable. We also don´t really have a lot of singles. I´ve seen issues arise when the garter toss winner has to put the garter on the bouquet toss winner and one of them has a significant other etc etc etc)

Neither for me...for a few reasons, those being:
- we dont have too many single people coming - I think it is awkward (always did, even going to weddings - so I couldnt even imagine how I would feel on the 'hot seat' with the garter! ) - dont want to take any time out from dancing!

I didn't do either instead did the anniversary dance! I wanted to honor DH's grandparents who I knew would be the last ones standing!

We are doing both but not in the traditonal way.
For Bo-K ~ I'm doing it outside the church Garter ~ Because he wants pictures but we don't have many singles coming we are going into the room while everyone is in the CH with the photographer to take the pics..but not throwing it

this is what we will be doing because i just like it better in general. We also have very very few single people at our wedding so there really isn't a point for us. we are also giving away the toss garter since it would be cute for a photo.

we did neither....I just felt it was corney...I use to HATE being dragged up there to try to catch the BK so I just didn't want to force my guests to do it too....JMO
I did wear a garter though.

Same reasons. We don't have many single people coming and the ones that are would be mortified I think.

I wanted more time for dancing and i feel like people are forced to go up there and I didn't really have many signal people at my wedding.

same here. especially on the awkward part...half the time people attempt not to catch the bo-q/garter

All the Djs we met with said doing the bo-k/garter takes about 30 mintues out of your wedding. I would rather do somethng else like the anniversary dance.

To each their own, but it's just not my style. We also feel it breaks up the party and I never enjoy this part at other weddings I've been to. JMO.

I did both at my Wedding. It was cute to see some of the kids in my family be apart of it! My 13 year old cousin actually caught the garter and put it on my 30 year old coworker!! He looked so embarrassed!!
